About dmfoto

Who is dmfoto?

dmfoto is a full service photography business.  Dave Marks started Dave Marks Photography back in June 2001.  In 2008 Dave Marks Photography became dmfoto LLC.  The DM stands for Dave Marks.

At this point, the beginning of 2016, we excited about our growth and the fact we have photographed over 300 wedding.  dmfoto used a team approach in the beginning and it is still how we work.  We always have a minimum of two photographers at every wedding.  Some brides choose to have a third photographer.

All wedding are photographed with Dave as the lead photographer and one of our associate photographers.  The associate photographers are all female, so they can hang out with the bride and bridesmaids during the getting ready part of the day.

Our High School Senor photography is very unique and very high quality.

We have now started offering a photo booth for weddings and events.

Links to all of our websites are on the menu bar.

About Dave

Dave has been involved with photography since 1970.  First as a hobbyist while in the US Air Force.  Then he attended college in Idaho and studied photography, working on the yearbook and as the assistant to the school photography.  Then he transferred to Brigham Young University and majored in communication with emphasis in still Photography.  His senior year he was voted “Most Creative Photographer” at BYU.

After leaving college he open a photofinishing business in Arkansas, continues in the photofinishing industry working in Jackson Hole WY, then in Rexburg Idaho.  After the experience of Managing three different businesses he moved into  Photofinishing service with a job working for Fuji Film.  He worked for Fuji Film for 15 years.

Next was deciding to open his own business, Dave Marks Photography.  His desire to do wedding with a team approach, lead to great success.  His High School Senior photography was also unique with his soon to be famous High School Senior Foto Safari.

We have added a photo booth available for rent.  Wedding reception and school or cooperate events will find this fun and affordable.

At this point Dave has cut back on the wedding photography and he concentrates more on High School Seniors.  Dave prefers to work with happy people that want amazing quality photographs.
